The Web Kitchen

Brief:

Re-design the school website experience and interface to represent the schools positive hands on approach to learning. Carry out a sitemap refresh and simple brand expansion by looking into bringing to life the children’s recent production of Mary Poppins. 

 

Challenge:

With little photography I had to find a playful way to add personality to the site showcasing their values and ethos whilst barring in mind the limited budget meaning that the site would lack animation. This meant I need to use graphics to create depth and personality.

Role:

Lead designer/ Project manger responsible for liaising with the client, creating a new site map, creating graphics for the site and designing the full interface.

Outcome:

A playful site that represents a joyful school environment. It is easier for parents to navigate, enabling them to see weekly updates on the homepage and clear CTAs throughout the site as requested. Pops of colour and clouds engage the user, encouraging them to explore the homepage more.
